PTFE coated glass fibre cloth is non-combustible and can be applied permanently at temperatures up to 316 degrees Celsius. As this material consists of a PTFE coating it has a very high tensile strength and has a high shape stability. It does not change shape, even when it is exposed to long term tensile forces.

A fabric expansion joint of PTFE coated glass fiber fabric is chemically inert, heat resistant, resistant to vegetable oils, retains its shape and can be applied in contact with food.
