Buitink TechnologyBuitink Technology engineered, produced and installed an ETFE foil roof for the new bus station "Spoorlaan" in Tilburg (Holland).
A single layer tensed ETFE foil was chosen due to its self cleaning properties, durability, transparency, light diffusity and its extreme light weight.
Stainless Steel cables
To resist wind force and potential snow load the ETFE membranes are equipped with Stainless Steel cables, inserted in pockets around the ETFE membranes.
The total surface area of the ETFE membranes is about 2400 m2.
