Buitink Technology’s Modular Textile Canopy has been designed so it can be shipped and used all over the world. Not only is the canopy modular, it is also prefabricated and can easily be assembled and dismantled without the need for heavy equipment such as a crane or AWP.

Additionally, the MTC is made of a lightweight structure (approx. 35 kg/m² of floor area), which can be packed very compactly to facilitate shipping.

Very compact shipping package

By way of an example, we are using the transport dimensions and weight of an MTC canopy designed to serve as the framework for a beach pavilion having a floor area of 13x10 meters, and a height of 3 meters.

From a dismantled MTC in a crate measuring 4.8 x 1.9 x 1.3 m (189 x 75 x 51 inches) to a beach pavilion measuring 13 x 10 x 3 m (511 x 393 x 118 inches).

The above Modular Textile Canopy (frame, roof tent and concertina awning system) can be packed in a wooden shipping crate measuring 4.8 x 1.9 x 1.3 m. The total package weighs only around 3,800 kg.
