Specifications

This type of tensioned lounge coverings has the following specification:

• Model: Floating Saddle SunShade^® (FS SS^®);
• Size: Of one module LxBxH   = 3,66 x3,66 x 2,5 m (with about 0,5 m in the ground);
• Construction: Aluminum tubes 63 mm + sunshade membrane + ground anchors + wall connections.

Aluminum frame

The FS SS^® system consists of one ore more columns fixed to the ground with anchors. These aluminum posts (63 mm) are provided with fixation points for the membrane at four sides at different heights. The membrane can be placed at different angles. It is also possible to have a system with a combination of columns and fixations to a wall. The system can be extended without limits. Furthermore the columns are very easy to install and dismantle. The posts are put into the ground anchors and clamped with three bolts.

Standard finishing of the columns is blank anodized, optional a coating in black mat-finished (one layer70 my, RAL 9005) is possible. Other colors are on request (this will increase the delivery time with several weeks).

Stretch PVC coated fabric

The membrane is made of a stretch PVC coated fabric, that is provided with a fixation hook on the four corners. The membrane is white and the total weight is only about 3 kg! Installation and de-mounting the membrane can be done within a minute. The membrane can be washed in an ordinary washing machine at 40 degrees (anti-crease).

When the cover is not used, we advise to dismantle the membrane. The ES SS^® is used as sun protection only, not resistant against storm, hard wind, snow etc. In case of rain, we advise to install the lower points of the membrane at the bottom fixation points.
