Art work for the Kröller-Müller Museum
Buitink Technology realized a number of tent constructions on behalf of artist Cornelius Rogge. The tent constructions were exposed at the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo (the Netherlands).
The work of Cornelius Rogge (Amsterdam, 1932) is characterized by a few clearly defined trends. His first work was realized with natural materials as stones and springs. Afterwards he realized art works with broken natural stones tightened with plastic. Finally the tights became whimsical with baroque shapes on rigid supports as tables and desks.
Kröller-Müller Museum
Since the early 70's Rogge realized different tent constructions. The Kröller-Müller Museum exposed in its garden six tents, turned inside out. Buitink Techology developed the structure for the tents as well as the fabric covering. We also made several force calculations.
