Buitink Technology develops and produces flexible, mobile large-format water reservoirs in-house. Buitink Technology's XXL mobile water reservoir has a capacity of no less than 1,000 m³ and is designed for applications where large quantities of water must be quickly available, such as in firefighting.

Storage of firewater

This type of reservoir offers a robust and flexible solution for firewater storage. It is easy to place in strategic locations, such as near forests with an increased risk of forest fires, or near villages and other areas where fire is a high risk or can cause a lot of damage.

• Strategic placement: the reservoir can easily be moved to locations where there is an increased fire risk, such as forested areas or near villages. Moreover, if necessary, it can be transported by helicopter to hard-to-reach areas, such as mountainous regions.
• Flexibility in use: the reservoir can be used for both water storage and direct firefighting operations. It is possible to fill the reservoir simultaneously while extinguishing from the reservoir, for example by helicopter.

Use and installation

• Use of height difference for additional water pressure: by strategically placing the reservoir, the natural difference in altitude can be used to generate additional water pressure during firefighting operations.
• Multiple filling options and connections: the reservoir is equipped with several filling hoses, which allows the reservoir to be filled quickly and efficiently from different water sources. Fire hoses can also be connected directly to the reservoir, allowing extinguishing directly from the reservoir.
