Besides inflatable valves based on using air, Buitink Technology also develops and produces seals filled up with (wet) sand to be used under water.

These seals are made out of heavy duty, water tight canvas, resistant to sea water and hydrolysis proof. The valves, filled with sand, are equipped with SS suspension eye's and a fully synthetic heavy duty zipper, i.e. fully resistant to salt water.

Sand filled seals, produced by Buitink Technology, are used amongst others to close down the gap between a foundation pile and its housing in order to prevent water entering the sleeve and prevent algae growth.
