On behalf of Bouwcombinatie FBK, Buitink Technology supplied and installed a horizontally movable shading system for an office complex.

This system is linked to the Building Control System and serves as sun shading beneath the glass roof construction of the atrium. Dimension of the system is approximately 23 x 13 m, made of four sections of 5.8 m wide and 13 m long. The sun protection system operates dependent on the weather condition and will automatically open or close.

As a sprinkler system is inside the building, the shading system is linked to the fire alarm and in case of fire closes automatically  within three minutes.
