In 2008, the Elysium Well ness in Bleiswijk was thoroughly renovated. As part of the renovation, Terrena Architects designed a wavy, natural stone entrance facade.

Membrane structure

In this curving facade a membrane structure marks the entrance to the wellness center. The striking shape of the canvas at the entrance canopy is made by alternately push up the fabric (with tied columns) and pull down (with tension cables). Through a drain, the membrane is connected to the wavy, natural stone wall.
